It would be Hatha based yoga designed to stretch the hamstrings, hips, and back.
Especially good for people who sit in chairs all day!
Bring your own mat, a water bottle and wear loose fitting clothing.

Yoga has been a part of my life for almost 20 years. I stumbled into yoga while participating in the vigorous world of Martial Arts. My body was plagued with nerve damage, low back pain, and other various injuries. Emergency back surgery quickly halted my exercise and a after a long, painful recovery I was left wondering what was next. A friend suggested yoga and from the moment I stepped on my mat I was hooked! Yoga has helped me grow stronger, more flexible, and creative both on and off the mat. Fast forward many years, hundreds of classes, a couple of mats, a yoga teacher training in the middle of the Costa Rican rainforest, teaching numerous times a week and you have one happy yogi!
Teaching for me is not about money or fame or flexibility. It’s about growing a like-minded community of students and friends.
One of my goals for practice is keeping the body upright. Yes! Upright. We spend all day caving inward…..texting, driving, eating, sitting at a desk, working, and taking care of everyone but ourselves. All of these actions compress and crunch the low back and cause damage and pain. All of our movements originate from the spine and eventually everyday activities become filled with discomfort.
So if you want to open your mind, your heart, your shoulders and give your spine some much needed love, come take a place beside me on your mat!
